It was a milestone period in all the spheres of social life in Istria, as three states followed one another, with each of them leaving a mark on Istria in their own way.
Ethnological collection
The ethnological collection is displayed in the Venetian-Gothic house on the outskirts of the town and represents the material and spiritual rural culture.
From Austria-Hungary to Yugoslavia
The exhibition shows the struggle of the Slovenes in Slovene Istria, Brkini and Ilirska Bistrica for survival and their endeavour for the integration with the parent nation.
The Museum Armoury
The museum armoury displays weapons from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
