Quern ("Pistrina")
Datation and origin: 17th – 18th century Istria. Material: stone and iron.
This quern for grinding olives is made up of two parts: a bowl-shaped, round base with a funnel and a round millstone with an iron handle for turning. B, the stonemason's mark, has been chiselled onto it.
