Sabre

This (officer's) parade sabre of Napoleon's Grand Army was donated to the museum by G. Stener from Koper. The item has been preserved in a set with its sheath and is greatly curved. The handle is made of brass, as is its sheath. A part of the blade has been coloured blue as a base for 4 ornaments in a golden shade. The length of the entire item is 92cm.  

The item is kept in ˝Napoleon's Corner˝, which contains all the items stored by the Koper Regional Museum from the period of Napoleon's supremacy over our territory.
